What you’ll find at Argentum Lodge…

EVERYDAY IS DIFFERENT
With great facilities and a fantastic activities programme, there’s never a dull day at Argentum Lodge. Through our dedicated Activity Co-Ordinators, we offer something for everyone.
At Argentum Lodge, there is the option of a garden room which has patio doors that open to the communal gardens. Our residents use our gardens for many reasons; relaxing in the sunshine, celebrating an occasion with their friends and families or to enjoy some relaxing gardening. We encourage all residents to pursue their hobbies and interests where possible.
We do all we can to help our residents to maintain their relationships and have a “virus-proof” visitor room in which relatives are welcome to visit their loved ones without fear of spreading infection.
Argentum Lodge is dedicated to support various charities and are always eager to support new ones. If you wish to initiate a function for a charity close to your heart please discuss it with our Home Manager and we can organise this.

Our hair salon is available to all residents, to make sure they truly feel like their best self! Our on-site hairdresser can cut, blow-dry and style your hair weekly (or as desired) and continue your pampering regime in the comfort of your own home.
Activities Programme
Activities Programme
We offer a range of activities to our residents, including, arts and crafts, music and entertainment. We have close connections with the local community – churches, local primary schools, and nurseries. Although there can be a lot going on at Argentum Lodge, we always have quiet lounges available where you can enjoy reading your book or watching TV.
Sensory Equipment
Sensory Equipment
We offer a Sensory Magic Table (a Tovertafel) that allows residents to develop their senses and emotional well-being through light and moving images. The sole purpose of this piece of equipment is to improve motivation by encouraging residents to be both more active and interactive with one another. Through simple games that are projected onto the table, it helps to alleviates boredom and depression – residents take part by using their arms and hands.
